	<title>Weather Safety</title>
	<description>
Most of the disasters that we have to deal with are a result of the weather and that is why learning proper weather safety is so important. Too many of us do not take weather safety as seriously as we should and the results of that can be devastating. Simply knowing about the dangers and how best to deal with them in the event of a natural disaster that is triggered by weather can increase your chances of survival and coming out of it safely many times over.

Talking about Weather Safety at Home
Many children learn a bit about weather safety in school, but all of this should be reiterated at home and practiced there as well. the whole family should be aware of the potential for bad weather and what is the best way to maintain safety. One of the best ways to get the information that can save your life is to turn to the local authorities. They always have literature available that deal with the weather safety that you need to know for your area.

They will also have lists of the essentials that all households should have in the event of a disaster.
It is very important that these things are in the home at all times becasue when the time comes that they are needed it will be much more difficult to obtain them as there is always a mad rush to the supermarket right before storms hit.

Be aware of the weather and the storms that are moving into your area. Know in advance if there is a possibilty for disaster with the coming storm and work out a weather safety plan. Know where everyone will be and how they will get home or back together when and if disaster strikes. Do not let confusion and ignorance add to the disaster. Everyone should know their role and responsibilities that they need to fulfill when disaster strikes.
